Beginning January 17th at 6:30 PM at the Nine Lakes Baptist campus, we welcome you to join us as we begin the series, "Start> Becoming a Good Samaritan".
start> Becoming A Good Samaritan is about community. It's about loving our neighbor. It's about becoming the Church and the people God wants us to be. We need to be able to share our victories, our ah-ha moments...as well as our doubts and our fears.
A World in crisis... besieged by Poverty, Pandemic Diseases, Social Injustice, Racism, Inequality and Political Oppression…
What impact could 77 million American Christians have on these problems? How different would our world be if the Church of Jesus Christ became the strongest voice on these issues? Why don’t more Christians get personally involved?
It could be that we’ve become paralyzed by the enormity of the problem. Or worse, maybe we’ve become so caught up in our own busy, busy lives that our brain shuts out everything not on our “to do” list – including the Good Samaritan opportunities right in front of us!
Whatever the reason, when we’re faced with the reality of committing ourselves to being the hands and feet of Christ to a hurting world, we get stopped at the most critical point on the journey… the beginning!
